Return shipping for pens will be done via U.S.P.S. with delivery confirmation at a cost of $5.00.

Insurance will be provided on returning items at additional cost. Please insure your packages.

When packing your pens for shipping, please follow these simple steps to insure their safe arrival.

1. Be sure the pen is completely empty and flushed of all ink. If I have to clean ink out of the pen there is an additional $5.00 charge.

2. Wrap your pens individually in bubble wrap. I find a 7" x 8" piece of bubble wrap, rolled around the pen and sealed with tape, is adequate.

3. Include a note with your return address and a contact phone number, describing your pens' problems. Should you send 2 pens of the same color and kind, please place a slip of paper under the clip noting which is "Pen 1" and which is "Pen 2."
   Also include a writing sample for each pen sent and let me know how wet you want the pen to write on a scale of 10 with 10 being a flood.  As mentioned I do not do nib work, but will try to tweak your nib to the desired wetness if possible.

4. If there is unfilled space in the box, use shredded paper, packing peanuts, or newspaper to prevent your pens from shifting during their trip.

5. Have your Post Office stamp the box "Fragile."

6. If you plan to address your package with a fountain pen, please place a piece of clear tape over the address label to prevent smearing.

Disclaimer:  Due to the fragile nature of vintage pens, breakage sometimes occurs. This is a risk we accept when using and restoring vintage pens. Unseen cracks, brittle hard rubber, and weak celluloid are dangers we face as a restorer and you face as an end user. It is our goal to avoid damage at all costs.  If we feel that the pen you have sent for repair is in such a state that it may break, we will not take the chance of ruining your writing instrument and will contact you for instructions. We are not responsible for damage in shipping or damage that may occur from unseen faults in the pen.  As stated, we will fully examine every pen before starting restoration, but some faults just can not be seen.
